Linking your student's AoPS Online account

If your student already has an AoPS Online account and you know the username and password, it can be linked to their AoPS Academy account.

If you don't know the password, but you do know the username or the email address associated with the account, please follow these steps.

1. Sign out of your AoPS Academy Parent account using the dropdown menu in the top-right of this page.
2. Go to the Reset Password page.
3. Enter the username or the email address associated with your student's account.
4. An automatic email will be sent to the email address associated with the account. That email will include the student's username and a link to reset the password. Press that link and follow the instructions to reset the AoPS Online account's password.
5. Once the new password has been set, log back in to your Parent Account at https://virtual.aopsacademy.org/parent-portal. You'll see a red message with a link reading “Set up [your student]'s account to access their course.” Click the link.
