High School Contest Math
Choose the right level
Students who have taken Honors or Contest Math 8, Introduction to Geometry, and have scored between 80 and 120 on the AMC 10 exam are ready for High School Contest Math.
Our expert instructors use Art of Problem Solving curriculum to teach High School Contest Math. In this course, students prepare for the most rigorous high school math competitions by learning the strategies and methods needed for success on the American Mathematics Competitions 10 and 12 (AMC 10/12), the American Invitational Math Exam (AIME), the Harvard-MIT Math Tournament, and other major high school contests.
This course uses the book Art of Problem Solving, Volume 2.
Our instructors hold classes virtually, in a small-sized (10-16 students) videoconferencing classroom.
Homework and exams
There are about 2 to 3 hours of homework each week. There are mock contests in Weeks 9, 18, 27, and 36.
